Installing Prafia Pro Driver on Windows

1. Please download the latest version of Prafia's Windows Driver from this link.

2. Depending on your browser settings, it will be saved to your default download location. The file name is "PRAFIA-Pro-WIN_v2.12.0.002.zip."

For example, on Chrome, it will become visible on the bottom-left of the screen and will be saved in the "Downloads" folder by default.

3. For security reasons, the driver is placed within a zip file. Please extract / open the installer inside the zip.
When launching the installer, you may see a Windows security warning. Click on "More info" and then “Run anyway” to continue, then follow the installer steps.   

4. During the installer steps, you will be asked to select your printer model.
Please select “AM-243-BT” from the list and continue with the installation.

 

5. After installation, go to your Windows Printers. You should now see "Label Printer" or "AM-243-BT" listed. You can reach this page by going to the Control Panel -> Devices and Printers.

6. Right click on "Label Printer" or "AM-243-BT" and choose Printing Preferences to adjust your label settings.

7. Under the Layout tab, click on "Advanced..."

8. Select your label size from the drop down menu. Most 4 x 6 shipping labels are 100 x 150mm. Click Ok to save your settings.
