Skipping labels or continuously feeding - Prafia Flex
There are two main reasons why Prafia skips labels or continuously feeds. This usually happens after you change your label type, size, or manufacturer.
-
Prafia hasn't learned your label [Most common reason]
Re-run the automatic label identification so Prafia can learn your label.
To make sure your computer is not sending print commands, disconnect the USB cable from your Prafia printer. Then press and hold the top circular button on the printer:- For the Prafia Flex: release when you hear one beep.
- For the Prafia Pro: release after the blue light flashes twice.
Reconnect the USB cable and try your print again.

Your operating system is sending the wrong label size
Make sure the correct label size is selected:- Windows: Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Right click on Prafia → Printer Preferences → Advanced. Most 4 x 6 labels are 100 mm x 150 mm.
- Mac: Select 100 mm x 150 mm or 4" x 6" in the print prompt window. Note: The application you are using (e.g. Adobe Reader) may override your driver setting and send the print in the wrong size. Check "Page Setup" or "Paper Size" in the print prompt to ensure it matches the correct format.
