DHL eCommerce & DHL Express Setup for Prafia

Whether you're shipping with DHL Express or DHL eCommerce, your Prafia printer makes it easy to print sharp, professional labels with confidence. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth setup.

DHL Express (MyDHL+)

MyDHL+ allows you to define your label format so it's optimized for thermal printers like Prafia.

Step-by-step:

  1. Log into MyDHL+
    Go to https://mydhl.express.dhl     and log into your account.
  2. Access Printer Settings
    Navigate to My Shipment Settings → Printer Settings.
  3. Set Printer Type
    • By default, the printer type is set to A4 PDF.
    • To switch to thermal printing, select Standard Label Printing or another label printer option.
  4. Save your settings
    Click Save Changes to apply your printer preferences.

After setup, all newly generated shipping labels will be created in 4" x 6" format, ready to print with your Prafia printer.

DHL eCommerce

At this time, DHL eCommerce only provides shipping labels in A4 format (8.27" x 11.69"). These are not optimized for thermal printers by default — but you can still print them easily with Prafia using our crop tool.

How to print DHL eCommerce labels:

  1. Download the A4 label from your DHL eCommerce account.
  2. Open the file in the Prafia PDF Label Crop Tool.
  3. Crop the A4 page to the label section.
  4. Save the cropped version in 4" x 6" (100 x 150 mm) format.
  5. Print the label with your Prafia printer.

This allows you to use DHL eCommerce labels without needing to trim or tape A4 sheets.
