Barcode not printing clearly - Prafia Flex

 

If your barcode is not printing clearly, the source file wasn't created in the ideal quality. 

Try this sample label which was generated at the correct quality to test it: Sample Label

If there's no difference or improvement with the print result, you will need adjust your printer settings.

On PC: 

Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right click on IPRT IP-486 > Printer Preferences > Options Tab 

Adjust the following settings:

  • Darkness: Reduce the darkness to prevent barcodes from becoming too thick or unreadable.
  • Speed: Lower the print speed for higher precision.

On Mac:

Access these settings directly from the print menu as shown below. 

Adjust the following settings:

  • Darkness: Reduce the darkness to prevent barcodes from becoming too thick or unreadable.
  • Speed: Lower the print speed for higher precision.

💡 Tip: Test a print after making adjustments and further refine the values if needed for the best results.
